WHATS YOUR PROBLEM

This happened some time ago. I was out with Jane and Shiny at Plaza Singapura. After walking around, we decided to have a sit and a drink. So we sat at this little cafeteria. There was this middle-aged, lady-like woman who was already present there, accompanied by two guys. Oh my god, she was so annoying!! I haven't seen anyone who just stares at you for the whole time. What's her problem?! After she left, such a relief, Jane said maybe she just wants us to notice her branded bag. Then we gave each other that 'who cares?' kind of look. If she wants to carry a branded bag, couldn't she at least act like a sophisticated lady?

FEELING HURT

I guess watching too much House makes you sarcastic just like the main character. Because i just went and offended someone. Someone who clicks with me, who shares similar tastes in movies with me, someone whom i always msn with.

This past 2 months has seen a dramatic change in this relationship. No more movies, no more chats on msn. I understand he's busy, which explains the late sms replies. Whenever i say hi on msn, he says bye and goodnight. It's like im being avoided!

I thought, that he understood me, knowing that i can be sarcastic sometimes. I don't pull these jokes on people i don't consider as worthy, close friends. But i guess i was wrong. And maybe i'm being childish to be sulking and hurting and dwelling in this pain like an pathetic person. But i do know, that this is probably the only best solution for me to vent my frustrations without further injuring someone. Someone, who i clearly know, won't even bother that much, compared to me. Because, that's just him.

So, once again, if i offended anyone. I'M SORRY. I'll take note not to lash out any sarcasism from now on.

LESS WISDOM

My wisdom tooth is finally removed. Darn tooth. Initially i was frightened when everyone else told me how bad it would be with the swelling, the excruciating pain and all that. But i felt nothing! My dentist took a long time putting anesthetic, even gave me anti-swelling pills and painkiller before she yanked it out.

All through the process she gave me instructions like move head right, lower jaw left. She also kept telling me to open my mouth wider. Hello, that 's already my max la. Then began the twisting process, which didn't take too long. Then it was yanked out. The dentist showed me the tooth. Bloody mess.

After that, I went back into Bishan's Junction 8 and walked around waiting for David. Since dbs bank was there, might as well get a supplementary card form. but i COULDN'T TALK with that cotton bud stuffed in my mouth! So i whipped out my handphone, and typed in my request and showed the lady at the information counter. =P

Later, David arrived to get some photos developed. But the process takes 1 hour. So, we decided to get a drink at cafe cartel. The banana split took a long time, because they ran out of bananas and had to purchase at basement NTUC. I ate it, even with the cotton bud still there. Come on! The spoons were tiny, and besides ice-cream doesn't need chewing. Just concentrate on my right jaw la! >.<

We went home after the photos were done to pick up my sis. Then we went to clementi to look for my bro. Sis ordered me a bowl of macaroni with soup. My bro and his wife looked at it and gave me that I don't think you can eat kind of look. Aargh, i don't care! I just discarded my cotton in the washroom and finished my macaroni. After that, we had delicious rojak. How about that? ^_<

Bush is gone! Obama is here! Hehe..., this beauty parlor in Paragon conveniently uses this political situation for their new poster. Haha! It really catches the eye.^^

A TREAT

I watched a piano performance today! I didn't plan to watch it in the first place, since it's my regular weekday teaching nights. But since it's organized by our official board of examination, TCM Examinations Centre stands for Trinity College of Music, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Hungary in Singapore, I get the night off from teaching. =D

So after teaching half day, I rushed over to meet my sis and grab a bite at Mcdonalds. Then we walked over to Victoria Concert Hall, met up with her hubby David and friends, and went in. Since I got my ticket later then them, I was seated elsewhere at the back. Guess what? I had the whole row to myself, which, David later asked if i sprawled accross for a nice nap. -_-*

And i thought to myself how nice the organizers were, because they actually used a projector and videocam to capture his action on the keys. And this fella was GOOD!! He could go REALLY wild with his improvisations. He's young and he's got talent!

Oh, David's brother, Michael apparently loved it so much, he bought the CD after the concert. He wanted the autograph too, but we were a bit upset discouraged when he saw the long queue. So in the end, i asked one of my colleague to help out and we left. I passed the CD back to David a few days later, after uploading the pieces on my mac. I'm listening to it now! ^^

wisdom tooth woe

Horrible week! There was a huge ulcer at the back of my jaw throat and my left jaw was swollen. So swollen that I couldn’t open my mouth wide!

I couldn’t even shove the spoon tablespoon in! I tried, only to tire myself out in the end. My jaw muscles were so cramped I could only succeed in eating half a bowl of porridge.

Day 1 was the worst. Day 2 and Day 3 was a bit better, but that’s because I drank plenty of water, vitamin C drinks, cooling water and I put salt on my ulcer. Such excruciating pain!!!! >.< Every night my mouth went numb from all those doses of salt. I could only communicate with my housemates using my hand phone. T_T

Then on Saturday night I went to see the doctor. I couldn’t stand eating all those starchy congee at parkway. Ugh! Doctor said It’s a tooth problem., so he gave me painkillers and antiseptic gargle to recede he swell.
